About Me
I have over 15 years of experience in senior nursing roles across the NHS and private sector. During my nursing career, I found myself drawn to the counselling aspects of my role and this passion inspired me to pursue my dream of studying and transitioning into a Certified Counsellor.
I bring a wealth of skills and expertise to my private practice and this has given me a deep understanding of the diverse needs of those navigating bereavement. I now relate this experience to offer tailored counselling that provides compassionate support, meeting you where you are on your unique journey towards healing.
I am dedicated to offering an empathetic and kind approach, especially during heart-breaking times. My commitment is to make a meaningful, lasting difference in your life by providing the support you need to find the tools to cope, navigate your grief, and begin to rebuild.
I have volunteered both locally and abroad, deepening my commitment to helping those facing bereavement to navigate their challenges and find renewed hope.
I hold a Diploma Level 5 in Counselling and have also completed many relevant recognised post graduate courses. This has built on my First Class Honours Degree from Southampton University.
I participate in regular clinical supervision, maintain professional liability insurance, and hold an enhanced DBS check. Additionally, I am a Senior Accredited Member of the ACCPH and adhere to the ethical code of conduct set by the BACP.
